learning designer and french teacher
Sarah
Passionate about languages, she now teaches French and FLE with a clear goal: helping students understand the logic of the language so they can truly make it their own and progress with confidence.
Having grown up in China, Canada, England, and France, she was immersed in multilingual environments from an early age and became bilingual in English very young.
Her own journey with French, however, came with challenges: school explanations often felt abstract or poorly adapted. It was in her final year of high school that she decided to revisit the basics and develop her own progressive, concrete, and visual method—an approach that transformed her relationship with the language and helped her score 20/20 on the written Baccalauréat exam.
She then continued her studies in Canada, earning a degree in translation from the University of Montréal and working as a literary columnist for the student newspaper Quartier Libre, honing her analytical skills and sensitivity to the nuances of language.
With over eight years of experience in translation and writing, as well as teaching young children, she has spent the past two years fully dedicated to teaching French and FLE to students of all levels. Her international background and personal experience learning languages allow her to understand students’ challenges and make learning French clear, structured, and enjoyable.
